The rental period for an electric step begins when the Rider unlocks or takes possession of the electric step and ends when the rental is properly ended in accordance with the instructions of the Company.
Inspection Before Use
Before using an electric step, the Rider must inspect it for visible defects, damage, flat tires, loose parts, brake issues, or any other unsafe condition. The Rider must not use the electric step if there is any apparent defect or safety concern and must report the issue to the Company immediately.
Use at Own Risk
The Rider acknowledges that riding an electric step involves inherent risks, including the risk of falls, collisions, loss of balance, road hazards, mechanical malfunction, weather-related hazards, and injuries to the Rider or to third parties. The Rider accepts and uses the electric step entirely at his or her own risk.

When a ride has ended, the Company reads the mileage of the Vehicle. If this is not possible, for example due to a malfunction, the User must provide an estimate of the number of kilometers driven. The invoice will be prepared based on this data.
The Company is at all times entitled to charge the User for any additional costs related to misconduct, misuse of, and/or damage to the Vehicle, as determined solely by the Company.
The Company is also entitled to fully charge the User for traffic and parking fines (including processing and administrative fees) and/or to pass them on to the User.

8. Insurance and Damage
8.1 Cars
The rental cars of Master Car Rental are insured under a Third Party Limited Comprehensive Insurance policy. Coverage, exclusions, deductibles, and the renter’s liability for cars remain subject to the applicable insurance policy and the specific terms stated in these Terms and Conditions.
Damage to the rental vehicle itself is not covered, except for limited risks such as fire, theft, glass breakage, and hit-and-run.
8.2 Electric Steps
Unless explicitly stated otherwise by the Company in writing, electric steps are provided without insurance coverage for the Rider, and the Company gives no guarantee that any personal injury, death, property damage, third-party damage, theft, loss, or other damage connected to the use of an electric step is insured by the Company.
Renter’s Liability
The renter is also responsible for loss of use, towing, and related costs until the vehicle is repaired or replaced.

b. notify the Company;
c. notify the police and emergency services where legally required or reasonably necessary;
d. provide complete and truthful information; and
e. fully cooperate with any investigation, claim, recovery, or legal process.
Failure to comply with this procedure may result in the Rider being held fully liable for all resulting damage, costs, and claims.

The Damage Waiver does not change liability for third party damages, which remain governed by the insurance policy.
